"Athens Night Scene"

I just finished a new gouache painting called “Athens Night Scene,” and I’m pretty enchanted by how it turned out. It’s a cozy little alley bathed in warm, glowing lights that bounce along a charrming street, with balconies and potted plants quietly hinting at life beyond the frame. Painting this felt a bit like wandering through that narrow Athens street all over again, the way the shadows play and the colors shift in the night. Gouache was a fun challenge—its creamy texture really helped me capture the vibrant yet peaceful mood.
